Let our passionate tutors help you reach your goals!
We offer tutoring to any student in 10th grade or below. We will help your child with any and all subjects they may need assistance with. We are especially skilled in the following areas: science (biology, earth science, physics, chemistry, etc.) math (algebra, geometry, etc.), Spanish, English, history, and spelling. Since our tutors are young, they can assist and connect with your child in ways adult tutors cannot. More about this benefit in the FAQ section! Our tutors can also help your child improve their grades right now by focusing on their current tests and assignments in order to get the best academic results.
Sophia French and the rest of our tutors at Kids to Kids Tutoring offer convenient half hour or full hour tutoring lessons using Zoom Cloud Meetings. Your child can learn from the comfort of their home. In person sessions are available for individualized needs. You can conveniently pay through Venmo! You can also schedule a time that is convenient for you and your child without even having to leave your house!

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Adults sometimes cannot understand children as well as other children can. Our tutors will be able to understand and connect with your child in ways adult tutors cannot. They can present the material in a way that is more easily received by your child. Children can understand the way other children think, speak, and comprehend material better than most adults. In addition, a child often knows more current methods of academic material being presented in schools today. For example, in the case of math, children know the current method of how equations are solved based on current mathematical theory. Many adult tutors understand how to solve the equation but not with the new methods which ends up creating additional frustration for your child.
All of our tutors have taken classes in many subjects and have received an A grade for each of them. They know all the material for each class extremely well, definitely well enough to teach your child. See the Our Expertise section for details on their best subjects.
Because every child is different, the number of sessions needed to produce the desired results will also be different. We will adjust the amount of sessions based on the specific needs of your child. Our goal is to give your child the least number of sessions to achieve their specific academic performance goals. Our end goal is a student who achieves their academic goals and gains a better perspective on learning as a whole. Our tutors know that academic performance leads to confidence which helps every child succeed in many aspects of their life.
Every student has unique needs for support. Tell us more about what you are hoping a tutor can do for you, and we will start on a plan to help you get what you need.
